Where did I last go? What did I last see or eat ? What did I last experience?
‘Where I went’ is not a narcissist take on my life, but a travel tapestry of sorts. Mostly found wandering around the streets of Pune, I make sojourns to other cities too and occasionally chance upon the interesting restaurant or a must-visit there as well.
Besides writing for fun, I do a reasonably good job of marcom (if you don’t know what that is, then you don’t need my services). Brochures, web content, ad campaigns – anything that your business or your client’s business could need.
Very nice start. Hope to see lots more reviews and travel stories/anecdotes.

I loved the short video clip/ A Heritag walk down Main street, in your blogspot. Please could you tell me where the bungalow in the back alleys of M G Road( with a striking front porch ), is located?
I would love to go there. Also,where is the quaint Bhopla Pumpkin located? The details of the leaf design on the walls of an old house is exquisite.

Do you know Shivaji Market in Camp? It’s on the street parallel to MG Road (to its right) when you approach it from Aurora Towers. Walk down MG road till you reach the signal where traffic from East Street turns on MG Road. At that signal, turn right and keep walking.. ask for the Shivaji Market Main Gate, anybody will tell you. The bungalow is in the small lane opp that.
As for the Bhopla house, walk back towards Aurora towers from the Shivaji Market street (not MG road). Before you reach the post office (yes, there’s one there.. i didn’t know either) theres a a lane on the right with stones set at its entrance to prevent cars from entering. You’ll see a picture of that in my slide show. Walk in and Pumpkin House is in the first or second lane to your left.

Not a problem. No, I haven’t. I was with a group, and we had plenty of places to see. But it’s actually a good idea. From the looks of it, don’t think anybody stays there. In case you do, let me know what it’s like.
